About Al Assaba Sports Dubai
Al Assaba Sports Dubai is a football-focused organization dedicated to developing talented players and creating new opportunities in the world of football. Based in Dubai, we aim to support aspiring footballers through professional guidance, player development, and a strong commitment to their sporting journey.
Founded by a former Mauritanian international footballer, Al Assaba Sports brings together experience, passion, and a clear vision for the future of football. We believe every talented player deserves the right environment, support, and opportunities to grow both on and off the pitch.
Our mission is to develop players, build opportunities, and create the future by helping football talent reach higher levels and pursue their professional ambitions. Through our growing football network in Dubai and beyond, we are focused on building meaningful pathways for the next generation of players.
Who We Are
Al Assaba Sports is a Dubai-based sports services organization focused on football
development, player opportunities, talent identification, and the growth of young athletes.
Our work goes beyond regular football training. We are building a structured pathway where
young players can learn, train, compete, develop and prepare themselves for the next level
of the game.
At the heart of our organization is our U23 Football Team, which competes in the Dubai Open
for Football Academies (DOFA), a youth football competition organized by the Dubai Sports
Council in collaboration with the UAE Football Association (UAE FA). DOFA provides
young footballers with an organized competitive environment where they can gain valuable
match experience and develop their abilities.
Our Academy
The Al Assaba Sports Academy is designed to give young footballers a professional and
supportive environment in which they can develop both on and off the pitch.
Our academy focuses on players from the early stages of their football journey through to
advanced youth development. We work to identify individual potential and provide players with
the training, discipline, competition and guidance needed to continue progressing.
Our development philosophy is simple:
Train with purpose. Compete with confidence. Develop with discipline. Create
opportunities.
Our U23 Team
Our U23 team is an important part of the Al Assaba Sports development pathway.
The team gives talented young players the opportunity to move from academy football into a
more competitive environment, playing against other teams and gaining experience that cannot
be achieved through training alone.
Through our participation in DOFA, players are exposed to organized competition, match
situations, teamwork, tactical development and the demands of competitive football.
DOFA itself is designed to support youth development, improve player performance, encourage
competition between academies and create opportunities for promising players to be identified.
Our Mission
Our mission is to discover, develop, and support football talent through professional training, competitive football, mentorship, and meaningful opportunities. We are committed to creating an environment where young players can dream, work hard, build confidence, and improve their abilities. Through proper guidance, regular development, and competitive experiences, we aim to help players reach their potential and take positive steps toward a successful football career.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build Al Assaba Sports into a respected football development organization in the UAE, creating a strong pathway from youth football to competitive senior football. We aim to discover talented players, develop them in the right environment, and create opportunities that help them reach higher levels of the game. Our long-term goal is to strengthen our football programs, expand our player development network, and establish Al Assaba Sports as a trusted name in UAE football development.
